In 2006 IEG inked an agreement with Biomass Investment Group, Florida, USA to jointly develop commercially viable bio-fuel, through a fast pyrolysis patent technology for conversion of biomass to bio-fuel. The Bio-fuel is produced through a patent E-grass crop. The project has reached a successful test bench scale and bio-fuel is currently being produced at higher efficiency than the designed process. In the month of July ’07, based on the successful results, IEG has acquired ownership rights of the technology. It owns the technology and all related intellectual property rights for developing the most efficient form of processes and technology to convert biomass into electricity. Innovative Global Energy will be granting license to different sponsors / developers for deployment of this technology for producing bio-fuel and electricity.
